Armed Services Day Breakfast

Voorhees Senior Living held a Heroes Breakfast in honor of Armed Forces day.  A local Colonel came and spoke and awarded medals to veterans of the community.  The veterans and their families were in attendance, as well as local veterans from the area, and staff members. 

3^rd Annual Eagles Tailgate Party

The 3^rd Annual Eagles Tailgate Party fundraiser on November 15, 2009 was a huge success raising $1,200 to support the Alzheimer’s Association.  

Roughly 100 residents, families & guests enjoyed an all-you-can-eat cookout, Trivia & Best Dressed Fan contests with great prizes, a sports memorabilia auction & an appearance from Eagles’ Cheerleaders.

Congratulations to resident Mae Burdick who was instrumental in helping to raise money through raffle ticket sales for two weeks leading up the Eagles Party. The festivities were sponsored by the Eagles, Revolution Care, Inc., CareMore In-Home Services, Boscov’s at Voorhees Town Center & ACME Market at Eagle Plaza in Voorhees.

A special thanks also goes out to former Eagles’ players Ron Jaworski, Vince Papale & Gary Cobb for the autographed items they provided.
